Last Month of Winter
It’s still cold out but at the studio the spring energy is starting to show. We see more and more students showing up to practice in the mornings and we are so happy to get to experience this little community bloom.
At Christianshavn there has been a few people experiencing problems with the street door buzzer. We hope that this problem should now be solved. And if you have problems with the door - let us know.
In Nørrebro, as you probably know we’ve had a small leak, and we have finally got the building to fix the pipes. So no more dripping sounds in Savasana.
In both studios, the 17:00 classes tend to fill up and if the ‘sign up’ button is gone on the schedule it means that the class is fully booked. We make room for a couple of drop ins though, and there will mostly be one or two students not showing up. By the way - thank you all for being so mindful and very good at canceling your classes when you can’t make it. Making space for someone else and helping us keep a good flow at the studios.
As many of you might have realized by now, our booking system changed at the end of last year and we are still hunting bugs. Know, that all feedback is very welcome and very much appreciated. The new app is still on it’s way - it has taken much longer than we expected - but now it finally looks like we will get it soon.
Once again we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming some fresh faces to the team of teachers at The Yoga Flat. We can’t wait for you to meet Simon, Tessa and Naya. These beautiful souls have a great passion for yoga and are going to help us cover classes when regular teachers are not able to teach or away on retreats and trainings.
Simon classes will strife to bring you to a place of serenity yet challenge, along the way you will always have the calm, kind sound of his voice to lean on, and his precise instructions to work with.
Tessa’s practice focuses on healing the mind, body, and soul. She is an artistic individual, and she uses that creativity in her teachings.
Naya uses her background as a dancer in her classes where breath and movement is aligned to cultivate ease and flow in the body - always making space for movement in all asanas.
