200-hour Dynamic & Yin yoga Teacher Training

in Koh Kood, Thailand

With Lead Trainers: Nicolai Boas, Cédric Gorinas & Cecilie Sofie Svensson

Join us for our exciting new 200-hour teacher training, a unique offering designed to explore the powerful relationship between dynamic, energizing yoga and the depth of slower, more introspective practices. This journey invites you beyond the physical aspects of yoga and into a richer exploration of self-discovery, personal growth, and inner awareness, deepening your understanding of the practice both on and off the mat.

At the heart of this training is an appreciation for yoga's duality. While dynamic practices cultivate strength, vitality, and resilience, gentler practices such as Yin Yoga reveal their own profound power. Though often perceived as soft or passive, Yin offers an opportunity to develop presence, patience, self-inquiry, and deep connection, making it a transformative practice in its own right.

This training provides a unique opportunity to deepen your personal practice while developing the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to teach. Upon graduation, you'll be equipped to guide students through multiple styles of yoga, giving you the versatility to create balanced, meaningful, and well-rounded class experiences.

The Training

In this training, you will not only gain the knowledge, practical tools, and teaching methodologies needed to confidently host and lead your own classes, but you will also develop the skills to create meaningful, inclusive, and transformative experiences for others. Through a combination of theory, guided practice, and hands-on teaching experience, you will build the confidence to share these practices in an authentic and embodied way.

Alongside developing your teaching skills, this training is an invitation to deepen your own personal practice. Drawing on traditional Tantric philosophy, we will explore how its principles can serve as a framework for cultivating greater freedom from habitual patterns of thinking and behaving. Together, we will examine practices that support greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself and others. This process invites the possibility of letting go of limiting narratives, creating space for new perspectives, and living with greater authenticity, ease, and presence.

What’s Special About This Training?

We have intentionally designed this training around the complementary nature of both dynamic and gentle practices. By exploring the unique qualities and benefits of each, you will develop the confidence and skills to guide a wide range of experiences while deepening your own personal practice.

Rather than encouraging a single way of teaching, this training offers a supportive space to explore both ends of the spectrum, movement and stillness, strength and softness, effort and ease, allowing you to discover what resonates most with you and cultivate an authentic teaching style that reflects your own voice and experience.

The setting is an integral part of the training experience. Nestled on a secluded island, away from the pace and distractions of everyday life, you'll have the opportunity to step out of your usual routines and immerse yourself fully in the practice. This dedicated space creates the conditions for deeper learning, meaningful self-exploration, and genuine connection - with yourself, the teachings, and the group. By removing many of the demands of daily life, you can be fully present with the experience, allowing time for integration, reflection, and personal growth alongside your development as a teacher.

This is also why we encourage everyone to embrace a digital detox as much as possible throughout the training - not only during classes and practice, but also in your free time. We invite you to leave work, emails, and other day-to-day responsibilities behind, allowing this time to be a true pause from the demands of everyday life. Beyond perhaps bringing a good book to enjoy, we encourage you to simply be present with the experience. Creating this space away from constant stimulation allows the teachings to settle more deeply, supports genuine self-inquiry, and offers a rare opportunity to reconnect with yourself in a meaningful and lasting way.

What can you expect to learn

Our training is structured in alignment with Yoga Alliance standards and is built upon four foundational pillars that together support a well-rounded and integrative learning experience.

The training consists of:

  • Techniques & Practice – You will deepen your understanding of asana, pranayama, and meditation through both study and direct experience.

  • Anatomy & Physiology – You will gain insight into the biomechanics of movement and how yoga practices interact with and support the body.

  • Yoga Humanities – You will be introduced to the philosophical and historical roots of yoga, including its ethical frameworks and broader cultural context.

  • Professional Essentials – You will develop the practical skills, confidence, and methodology needed to guide and hold space for effective classes.

Together, these four pillars provide a balanced foundation that integrates study, practice, and teaching development in a coherent and supportive way.

The Schedule

Each week consists of six full teaching days and one day off. On the day off, the schedule is intentionally light, with only a gentle morning practice and an evening gathering, allowing space to rest and integrate. Who can join

This training is for you if you are a dedicated yoga practitioner.

You have at least one year of regular practice and feel confident moving within a consistent personal practice. You are curious to explore yoga beyond the physical aspect and are open to studying its philosophy, techniques, and broader context.

You are willing to take part in teaching exercises and step into the experience of guiding others, even if you do not yet see yourself as a teacher. Most importantly, you are committed to your own growth, learning, and exploration throughout the process.

This does not mean you need to be able to perform advanced postures or any specific shape with ease. There is no expectation that you can do a “perfect” headstand or demonstrate what is often considered advanced practice. What matters most is your willingness to engage, explore, and remain open to learning.

We hold this space with openness, respect, and mutual support. While the training can feel immersive and at times intense, you are always encouraged to listen to your own needs, honour your pace, and respect both your own boundaries and those of others as you move through the journey.

What if I don’t want to Teach?

This training is open to you even if you do not plan to teach in the future. While the program provides a strong foundation for those who wish to become teachers, there is no requirement or expectation that you turn your practice into a profession. You are equally welcome to join if your intention is simply to deepen your personal practice, expand your understanding of yoga, and immerse yourself more fully in the teachings and personal journey,

About The Teachers

Nicolai, Cecilie & Cedric

the three of us have been teaching yoga for a living for nearly four decades in together, led numerous yoga retreats, trainings, events and countless classes. Over the years, we started to appreciate yoga as a way of life, a way of being in the world that could have been felt both on the mat of our students and, quite often, in their lives. Yoga is about living authentically, which means with honesty and the willingness to meet life for what it is, and learn from each situation.

Teaching yoga then becomes an entrance

for us, teaching yoga goes far beyond teaching a nice sequence of physical postures. The word “yoga” is about reunifying: bringing breath and movement together, merging matter and spirit, but also using a highly professional approach to teach yoga from a an authentic perspective based on the personal maturity of the teacher. it takes humility together with expertise and this is what we three are passionate about transmitting to you.

Nicolai Boas

Nicolai is a yoga teacher, certified personal trainer, and co-founder of The Yoga Flat. His teaching focuses on body awareness, anatomy, and mindful movement, encouraging students to explore their practice with curiosity and self-awareness. Drawing on his background in personal training, he combines functional movement, physical conditioning, and intelligent sequencing to create classes that are both accessible and challenging. Nicolai believes yoga is a powerful tool for understanding ourselves more deeply, helping us recognize our patterns and cultivate a stronger connection between body and mind.

Cecilie Sofie Svensson

For Cecilie, yoga is about meeting yourself and others with honesty, openness, and compassion. While strength and flexibility naturally develop through the practice, her main focus is creating a sense of calm, presence, and connection. Her classes combine strong, flowing sequences with a slow, intentional pace, inviting students to connect deeply with their body, breath, and inner awareness. Each class is thoughtfully curated and often accompanied by a unique soundtrack that reflects its theme and atmosphere. Outside the studio, Cecilie lives in Copenhagen with her two children and works as a food writer and stylist.

Cédric Gorinas

For Cedric, yoga is a journey of self-discovery, connection, and empowerment. His classes combine devotion and passion with a strong emphasis on alignment, creating a practice that is both grounding and expansive. Guided by thoughtful themes, he encourages students to explore new physical and mental possibilities while cultivating presence and openness. Drawing on his background in somatic psychotherapy, Eastern philosophy, personal growth, and advanced yoga studies, Cedric brings depth, warmth, and authenticity to his teaching.
