Kirtan & Meditation
With Shreevats Iyer
You are warmly invited to an evening of devotional chanting dedicated to peace within ourselves and in the world around us.
Shreevats Venkateshwaran on vocals and harmonium (visiting from Barcelona) and Hardeep Singh on tabla (from Copenhagen) will be joined by students from Yoga Flat for a meditative chanting practice called Shanti Japa Kirtan.
Together we will invoke the qualities of deities such as Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, the Guru, who brings wisdom, Vishnu in his forms as Rama and Krishna, protectors and sustainers, Shiva, the force of transformation, and Hanuman, the embodiment of strength and devotion.
Through sound, rhythm and intention we offer this practice as a prayer for love, clarity, healing and peace for ourselves and the world.
This gathering is open to everyone. No previous experience is needed. Come as you are and take part in this heart-opening collective experience.
Price: 120,-
