An afternoon of Kirtan and Community

Immerse yourself in the transformative power of ancient mantras through the practice of kirtan. Join us for a sacred journey of call-and-response chanting, where the repetition of divine names stills the mind and opens a pathway to your inner Self.

As the mantras deepen, we gently peel away layers of thought and emotion to uncover what is always present inside - the silence and the inner presence of peace, bringing us back to the source; the infinite state of our true Self.

Come sing with Jakob Weise (harmonium, guitar and vocals) and Peter Lund (bass and guitar) as Jakob shares his personal practice and leads a heartfelt kirtan, with the opportunity for your voice to co-create the moment. We'll also explore beautiful invocations and songs from the Baul tradition, a spiritual path that deeply inspires Jakob.

Each session concludes with a Q&A, offering a space to share your experiences and insights.

About Jakob Weise

Jakob’s entire life has revolved around music. Since before his teenage years he has been performing professionally. He has released several albums, toured intensively and topped the charts within the pop industry as both a producer and a songwriter and with his band The Loft.

Yoga and meditation have been an integral part of his life parallel to his music for more than a decade. Within recent time he has taken a powerful shift and is now fully focused on deepening his practice of chanting and meditation on his own journey of self-discovery.

Jakob is currently working on new recordings of some of his favourite chants and mantras which will be available later this year. Learn more
