The Basics of Yoga

We invite you to deepen your understanding of yoga and the ancient practices that spans widely from alignment in poses, breathing techniques and meditation, to mythic embodiment and intellectual movement.
This workshop is for you who is either new to yoga or maybe you are already practicing but curious to learn more about how these practices benefit you.
Together we will review the basic concepts in yoga, basic alignment and the effects of yoga for the body and the mind.
You will be guided into the most common yoga asanas and flows, which is the foundation for a healthy and strengthening yoga practice.
You will also be introduced to breathing exercises and meditation tools, thereby gaining an understanding of how important these elements are in our yoga practice.
The workshop is for everyone, who wants to get a thorough, allround understanding of yoga, so even if you're not new to yoga, this workshop can help you to make more sense of what’s happening on each yoga class you attend.
