Gentle yoga and self-massage

a workshop w. Sarah Bay

In this 3 hr workshop with Sarah Bay, we will combine the releasing techniques of self-massage with therapy balls together with a gentle Yoga practice specifically designed to create a deep relaxed state in your body, brain, and nervous system. The focus will be to unwind unnecessary tension in the parts of your body that are overworking, so that you can fully let go and let yourself be.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for anyone who tends to feel tension, stiffness and restrictions in their body and who are interested in nourishing their body, mind, and soul before the busy holiday season begins. Experience with Yoga may be helpful but not required. The most important thing is to be willing to slow down and to care for yourself.

What can you expect?

- Self-massage with therapy balls to help release tension stored in your whole body
- A gentle Yoga practice along with breathwork that creates a true sense of ease and relief
- Wind down at the end of practice, using therapy balls to release any last tension and move towards a complete restful state with a nourishing breathwork
- Leave with exercises that you can do on a daily basis to continue to create a profound relaxed state in your body, brain, and nervous system at home.

About Sarah Bay

Sarah began her Yoga practice in her early teens in 2001 when she was introduced to Yoga by her dear grandmother. Since then the practices of Yoga have been a key part of her toolbox to align body and mind when going through life's twists and turns. These practices are Sarah’s anchor, reminding her to show up every day with an open mind and explore the dance between effort and ease. Sarah’s teaching style is lighthearted and through mindful sequencing her classes are designed to cultivate body awareness and make space for a meditative state of the mind.
